My name is Timothy Anderson, Program Director for Tockwotton on the Waterfront River's Edge Assisted Living. It is my passion to provide engaging and creative programs for elders both as a musician and as a recreation professional.
The field of activities is so important as it helps elders to lead fuller and richer lives by providing outlets for creativity, socialization, independence, and much more. As such, I feel it is essential that anyone in the activity field be trained and certified. This is why a few years ago I went to Maryland to take the Modular Education Program for Activities Professionals Train-the-Trainer program and am now offering courses and services for activities professionals in the Rhode Island area. For more information about training, click on the link above.
My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Rhode Island, Activity Director Certification through the National Certification Council of Activities professionals, and Certified Professional Coach Training through the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching. As music is a great passion of mine, I also provide vocal lessons and beginner piano lessons. If you would like to learn more about my work as a musician, please visit my other website by clicking the "music" link in the navigation bar.
